I just finished my site.

www.foctalk.com

it was a project that grew.  Originally meant for my family, but i decided to let other people use it as well.  The server is in the USA, on a T1, so let me know what country you\'re calling and how the voice quality was.  You can only call USA #\'s.

big thanks to babar for this client.

Tom

Hello Tom,

Your site look very good, specially speed dial and address book,
but you didn\'t mention my client name in right side pane (client list) ?

I m also looking for something same for my friends and family. Can you please share this with us ? along with what kind of setup is required at Asterisk end for PSTN termination !!

Overall site is very good. Excellent.

Thanks and Regards,
Babar Shafiq Nazmi.

Thx...For local call termination I have 2 FXO cards.  For US long distance, I use exgn.net and inphonex.com.  It has no limit on outbound simultaneous calls.  Rates are pretty cheap.

I did mention you and your site in my FAQ\'s...The right side panel are just advertisements, that is how I hope to pay for the IAX termination.  My goal is to have enuf people support my advertisements, so I can eventually put in International calling, and have it totally free for the end users.  But I will put a link to you above the phone dialer.

I\'ve also received 1 feedback that when the user logs in, the web client Initalizes for several minutes and then time\'s out.  This is the first time I\'ve heard about this.  They are on dialup.  Any thoughts?  I haven\'t tried your client on dialup yet, but I\'ll try it sometime today and see if I get the same results.

Regards

Just tried it on dialup with avg ping time of >1000ms, the iax web client was able to initialize and login.  Must be something on the end user\'s computer.

IAXclientocx only works with Windows and Internet Explorer 5.0+ (cuz of activeX). So if this user works with i.e. firefox - he needs a plugin (mentioned in another post) or it won\'t work.

It turns out the user had another IAX client running in the background, minimized, so they didnt\' see it.  But once they turned it off, the web client logged in.
