Help with Asterisk interface needed
« on: September 21, 2010, 09:02:00 PM »
Hi,
I am working on a private project where I need to be able to interface an Asterisk PABX and do simple tasks.
Primary functionality I am looing for is to be able to monitor trunks and extensions and display the status, perhaps even display the phone number and extension that are connected.

This is a windows based software and currently I am using TCP/IP to initiate calls through the Asterisk Manager API, and that is working fine.

I had a look at the monitoring aspect of the API and I am lost. How should I go about this?

Is the IaxClientOCX suitable for this purpose?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

TIA

Tom

Ok here is little defination IaxClientOCX is a voip SDK, you can create click2call, soft phone using IaxClientOCX.
Right now it is not doing any manager interface functions but I think its good to have it in IaxClientOCX, so I will add that part in next versions for sure.
